Every check runs from probes in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, and results are aggregated using a quorum consensus policy before an incident is opened — so a transient network hiccup in one region never wakes your on-call.
The platform covers eight monitor types: HTTP/HTTPS uptime, keyword and content presence, DNS records, SSL certificate expiry and chain validation, domain expiry via RDAP, TCP ping latency and packet loss, generic TCP/UDP port monitoring with banner and send/expect checks, and heartbeat (cron) monitoring for background jobs, scheduled tasks, and webhooks. Each monitor type ships with sensible defaults and presets for common services like SMTP, IMAP, IMAPS, FTP, SSH, and DNS, so you can configure a production-grade check in under a minute.
When something does break, FourSight automatically opens an incident with a severity level, tracks every status transition on a timeline (investigating → identified → monitoring → resolved), and fans alerts out across email, Slack, signed webhooks, and SMS based on the notification rules you configure. Maintenance windows suppress alerts on planned downtime using one-time or RRULE-based recurring schedules, and public status pages — included on every plan — keep customers informed without exposing internal detail.
Pricing is flat-rate by monitor count, starts at $0 for 10 monitors on the permanent Free plan, and tops out at $160/month for 500+ monitors on Scale.
